Diet Transformations

Four Letter Word

"Diet" is usually a four letter word. Not only that, they NEVER seem to work! I've been a yo-yo'er for the last 10 years. I went from a comfortable 155 to a miserable 255 and there I have stayed, uncomfortably, but neverless, I stayed.

I've tried the so-called quick fixes... shakes, pills, low carb, cookies, bars, points, etc. None of them worked for me. Why not? Because when "real life" interfered with the diet, I had nothing but peanut butter or cheesecake to fall back on. Hence the yo-yo'ing which had screwed up my metabolism.

I finally decided that enough was enough! I guess, for me, the final straw was the Oprah I watched about people who lost weight... hundreds of pounds worth. I cried and cried. I felt so bad about myself and had zero self-worth. I shouldn't base my "being" on my weight, but I did. As a thin person growing up, I saw what being slim brought me. As a heavy person, now, I see what I have lost.

I'm not at my goal, far from it. I'm not some skinny chick that is bouncing around telling you it'll be an easy process, 'cause by God, it won't be, but I'm pushing, fighting, kicking, and laughing my way through it. And, here's the thing, I want to help YOU through it with ME! We can do this together.

Forget giving a zillion more people money. Forget the disappointment on the scale. I KNOW we can do this together. Between my college studies and the numerous bits of pieces of information I have gathered over my 38 years on this earth, I have found out the BEST way to lose weight.

Not only is this the BEST way to lose weight, it's the SAFEST, HEALTHIEST, and most LONG-LASTING way!!! Wow... now I sound like an informercial. Nope, not me, I'm not gonna sell you a thing. I'm not gonna ask for a penny. I'm not even going to tell you to buy a specific anything for this weight loss.

I only ask for one thing. Join me in my journey. Help me and I'll help you. A little support from others can go a LONG way.

Our Journey

How does our journey begin? It begins with a promise. Promise yourself, not me, not your spouse, not your family or friends, but only yourself, that you will do everything in your ability to lose weight. Sounds overly simple, huh?

It really is that simple.

I'll start with the promise I made myself:

I promise to take the time to eat healthy. I promise to truly look at what keeps my weight high and my energy low and turn that around. I promise that this time, it is for real and forever.
